sorry, but i've never seen cruder faces in my entire life before... illegible ... no thought ... careless ... there are many other faces that are similar, but actually created by people who know what they are doing. the fonts here are merely poor attempts at mimicking a typographic style that has very limited use and purpose in design...then trying to make more use out of something like that is just type heresy. i have no doubts that the artistic talents of the individual(s) on that site are great, and i don't care who they've done work for... but their typographic skills are next to none. it is a VERY VERY difficult and challenging task to set type let alone create faces. though i appreciate effort.
Anonymous, you are correct. I am not a type designer. But don't worry noone's about to set a book in either of these faces. That is not their purpose. Legibility has its use, but it's not everything is it? Otherwise we'd all be using Interstate / Clearview/ Helvetica on everything wouldn't we? Also, it is actually not very difficult to set type or to design and create faces. In fact the beauty is that it's quite easy. I did it, maybe you can try too. Enjoy! Bran
